The service is currently operating or implementing operations in 18 cities, including Atlanta, Georgia; austin, texas; charlotte, north carolina; chicago, illinois; denver, colorado; san francisco California; and Seattle, Washington.
However, Google pulled fiber from a few other cities, including Boston, Massachusetts and Louisville, Kentucky. After leaving Louisville, Google was ordered to pay $4 million to the city for damages resulting from a failed attempt to roll out the service.
